TOPIC: NO WICKEDNESS
SCRIPTURE: “Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.” (Acts 12: 1)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how Herod stretched his hands to fight against members of the early church. Herod was a wicked king, that operated a wicked dynasty. One wicked Herod handed over to yet another wicked Herod. The mission of Herod and his dynasty was to work against the people of God. The mission of Herod was to scuttle and truncate the destinies of great men. The mission of Herod was to stop heaven’s plan.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every wicked Herod that says you will not rise, let the hand of the Lord be stretched against them. Every wicked king that is sitting on the throne and causing you to be oppressed, let the right hand of the Lord that does valiantly rise against them and bring them down. Let the right hand of the Lord dethrone every Herod that wants to sit on the thrones of kingdoms and wreak havoc. Let every Herod go down.
The trouble with the Herod system was that each Herod handed over to yet another Herod. For instance, this particular Herod that arose against the church was not the same Herod who wanted Jesus to be killed. As a wicked Herod left the scene, another wicked Herod took over and did more wicked acts. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every wickedness that wants to hand over to more wickedness, let El Roi arise and scatter them.
I dethrone every wicked system that is working against you. I dethrone every wicked dynasty that wants to make your life miserable. I dethrone every messenger of wickedness that wants to scuttle and truncate your destiny. I crush every wickedness of the wicked that wants to sit on the throne. I set an end to every dark and wicked dynasty that wants to cut short your life. I cut short the reign of every Herod that is against you.
Welcome to that season where wickedness and negativity will not sit on the throne. Welcome to your new season where you will not operate under the whims and caprices of any Herod or wicked dynasty.
Isaiah 47: 1 says: “Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.”
Declare With Me: Every wicked man sitting on the throne, go down by fire, in Jesus’ name!
